P&O Cruises’ Britannia is to boast the line’s most extensive spa, gym and wellness facilities when she launches next March.
In addition to featuring P&O’s popular Oasis Spa, the newbuild will offer the line’s first Oasis Villa, which has been designed to appeal to couples and groups. Guests visiting the private villa will have access to a whirlpool, champagne and a personal spa therapist.
The Oasis Spa will also provide an expanded range of spa treatments, which includes seven advanced facials, and a new ‘blowout’ menu in the hair salon, enabling guests to enjoy a blow dry, style and make-up session. The line’s first Spa Shop will also debut on Britannia to sell skin and hair care products by Elemis, La Therapie, Phyto, Bliss and Sebastian.
Similar to her sister ships, Ventura and Azura, Britannia will also have a VIP open-air deck area named The Retreat, where stewards will serve cold flannels, chilled drinks, snacks and alfresco spa treatments in the privacy of shaded cabanas.
The ship’s hydrotherapy suite will provide various sybaritic temptations, such as heated loungers, waterbeds, a salt cave, a hydrotherapy pool with reflexology, massaging jets and air recliners.
