Princess Cruises has revealed the new features that will be found onboard its fifth Royal Class ship, the 3,660-guest Enchanted Princess, when she debuts in 2020.

Like her sister ship Sky Princess – which launches next year – Enchanted Princess will feature two new Sky Suites centrally located on the top deck. The 270-degree panorama staterooms, which can accommodate up to five guests, will have a private view of the ship’s ‘Movies under the Stars’ screen.

The ship will also have a redesigned gastropub; Sabatini’s speciality restaurant; an Italian Trattoria restaurant; an art deco style Princess Live TV studio and café; a Wakeview pool on the rear decks; and a newly configured top-deck Sanctuary, which will house private cabanas.

“With the launch of Enchanted Princess in Southampton and our continued commitment to enhancing the range of features onboard our growing fleet of ships, this is an exciting time for Princess Cruises as we constantly strive to appeal to passengers looking for something new and exciting, both in terms of onboard offerings and destinations,” said Tony Roberts, vice president of Princess Cruises UK and Europe.

Enchanted Princess will be christened at the Port of Southampton in June 2020, making her the first Princess Cruises ship to be named in the UK since Royal Princess was inaugurated by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge in 2013.

After her naming ceremony, Enchanted Princess will head to the Mediterranean for summer 2020. The ship’s itineraries include calls in Barcelona, Spain; Athens, Greece; and Rome, Italy.
