Nowhere Networks is to provide Stena Line’s fleet of ferries with international network connectivity.

Stena Line evaluated Nowhere Networks’ long-distance internet solution for maritime use over the past six months and decided to implement the solution on 32 of its 38 ships. The network will be live from the beginning of 2023.

The total distance of the routes covered will be approximately 4,000 kilometres, making it the largest network of its kind in the world, according to Nowhere Networks.

“We are very proud to have one of the world’s largest shipping companies as a customer,” said Asbjörn Frydenlund, CEO of Nowhere Networks. “Also, Stena Line is renowned for always being at the forefront of innovation development and we really enjoy working with them.”
