MSC Cruises has revealed the attractions and experiences for guests in The Harbour, a new outdoor space on upcoming ship MSC World America specifically designed for children and families.

The area will feature on MSC World America’s open top deck, providing views of the ocean and a variety of dry and water-based attractions. Among the experiences will be The Harbour Aquapark, which will offer a range of water slides including a 90-degree vertical drop slide and a raft slide featuring virtual reality technology. Jaw Drop @ The Spiral, meanwhile, is a dry slide which will descend 11 decks to the World Promeade.

A rock climbing wall and high trail ropes course will also be featured in the area, along with The Harbour Light House, a playground modelled after the lighthouse at MSC private island destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas. Guests can order food and drinks at casual dining venue The Harbour Bar & Bites, while the Family Dwelling Area will offer shaded seating overlooking the sea.

Finally, Cliffhanger will be the only over-water swing ride at sea, featuring four-seat 50 metres above the ocean.

MSC World America will launch in April 2025.
