Disney Cruise Line has revealed a series of new experiences to be introduced onboard its newest ship, Disney Adventure.
Marvel Style Studio will make its Disney Cruise Line debut, allowing guests to dress like Marvel superheroes with a variety of hair, makeup and clothing options. Both children and adults can be styled like characters such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel and more through a range of styling packages. The salon will also transform into an adults-only lounge with bookable beverage tasting experiences at select times throughout a cruise.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, meanwhile, will give younger guests from 3 to 12 years old the opportunity to dress up in a variety of costumes, from knights and sea captains to Disney princesses. The boutique will feature a ballroom-themed styling area, costume display and changing rooms, along with a bookable private photo experience.
The Royal Society for Friendship and Tea experience will also be aimed at children from 3 to 12, giving them the chance to have a royal tea party with their favourite Disney princesses. New ‘society members’ will take part in an afternoon of treats, storytelling and music that teach the society’s values of kindness, bravery and determination, taking home official society membership keepsakes at the end of the day. The new experience will take place in the Hollywood Spotlight Club.
The Duffy and Friends Shop will provide photo opportunities with Duffy
For the first time on a Disney cruise, the Duffy and Friends characters, developed for the Disney Parks properties, will appear onboard Disney Adventure. A new stage show at the Disney Imagination Garden, Duffy and The Friend Ship, will see Duffy the Disney Bear and friends guided by the seagull Tippy Blue on an imaginary voyage across the sea. Guests will also be able to meet and take photos with Duffy and his friends at the Duffy and Friends Shop.
The Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest, meanwhile, will begin at the Duffy and Friends Shops when guests purchase a discovery guide, taking them to different locations across Disney Adventure to help Duffy and his friends find their missing items. After all the items are found, guests can return to the shop to receive a commemorative gift.
Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen will take place in the Disney Imagination Garden
Finally, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, an action-packed stage show, will appear for the first time on the Disney Imagination Garden’s open-air Garden Stage. Guests will be encouraged to dress up in their best pirate costume before joining the adventure to help Captain Jack and his band of pirates as they battle with an ink-squirting giant squid and hunt for treasure.
Disney Adventure will be the first Disney Cruise Line to homeport in Asia, sailing from Singapore primarily on three- and four-night voyages entirely at sea. The ship will set sail on its maiden voyage of 15 December 2025.
