MSC Cruises has suspended cruise calls in Turkey until further notice following suspected terrorist attacks in the tourist area of Istanbul.

Citing concern for the safety of guests, MSC has replaced MSC Magnifica’s weekly calls in Istanbul and Izmir – which will take place from 29 March – with visits to Athens and Mykonos in Greece.

Earlier this week, Crystal Cruises also revealed it had cancelled cruise calls in Turkey.
