Vantage Cruise Line will launch its first small ocean-going ship Ocean Explorer in March 2021. The intimate luxury expedition vessel will sail voyages worldwide.
Guests will be able to enjoy the vessel’s fine dining offerings, casual service, spa amenities and explore on guided excursions, such as wildlife viewing from bicycles, kayaks and paddle boards. They will also be able to make use of the ship’s many amenities, including the multi-level observation lounge, swimming pool, gym, outdoor movie screen, nightly lectures, musical performances and an onboard concierge.
Ocean Explorer will offer 77 cabins, including for 15 for solo travellers, enabling it to accommodate up to 170 guests. There will also be multiple stateroom and suite options, including TriLuxe Suites that have adjoining rooms to enhance group experiences.
The new ship will also feature the latest in satellite and navigation technology, as well as Rolls-Royce’s stabiliser system and Ulstein’s X-BOW for smoother sailing, reduced emissions and energy consumption. The hull will also enable it to move through packed ice.
“We are thrilled to add this new small ocean cruising vessel to our fleet and to surround our Vantage travellers in ultimate luxury as they explore their dream destinations,” said Henry Lewis, founder and owner of Vantage Deluxe World Travel. “Ocean Explorer will be a ship that caters to those who appreciate relaxed casual luxury, but who also enjoy the thrill of exploration and adventure.”
