ADELTE is to supply its seaport passenger boarding bridges (SPBBs) to cruise ports in Incheon, South Korea and Keelung-Taipei in Taiwan.

The Incheon International Cruise Terminal, currently under construction, will be equipped with two of ADELTE’s symmetrical Hydra SPBBs to safely transfer the growing number of international guests between their ship and the shore. The bridges will help Incheon Port Authority to achieve its aim of becoming a cruise hub in northeast Asia and handling three million passengers by 2020.

ADELTE will also deliver two custom-made Sedna SPBBs for the Keelung W2 and Taipei N1 cruise terminals. The systems will allow the Taiwan International Port Corporation to accommodate some of the world’s largest cruise ships, include Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas.

Although this is the first project ADELTE has worked on in Taiwan, the company previously installed four SPBBs KRONUS at the ferry terminal in Busan, South Korea in 2014.
