AIDA Cruises is preparing to resume its cruise operations, with the first sailings departing from Kiel, Germany, from 6 September. This will be followed by cruises onboard AIDAperla to the Norwegian fjords from Hamburg on 12, 19 and 26 September.
AIDA Cruises’ flag state Italy has approved the restart plan put in place by the cruise line. It will now work with the Italian authorities and classification society to implement the protocols and regulations necessary for the resumption of cruising.
However, due to the lack of guidelines for safe travel in some travel destinations, the cruise line will extend the pause of its sailings from destinations other than Kiel and Hamburg until 30 September. All guests who are booked on cancelled cruises will be informed by AIDA Cruises.
