Almaco has completed an extensive modernisation project onboard Genting Group’s Bimini SuperFast ferry.

The renovation work, which began in May while the ship was in Malaga and continued as the ship sailed to the Freeport in the Bahamas and Miami, was completed at the end of June 2013.

As part of the project, Almaco installed a new Sportsbook and Bar, a Genting Rewards area, converted the ship’s duty free area into two VIP casinos and transformed the existing bar into the Miami Casino and the Real McCoy Bar.

Bimini Breeze Bar also received a new deck covering, new furniture, repairs to the bar shutters and the front bar, while the Panorama Lounge was remodelled into the Resort World Casino.

In addition, Almaco converted the previous pool deck into Aqua Bar and Club Bimini, installing new deck covering and a small stage, as well as repairing the bar shutters, the front bar, teak landings and benches.

Bimini SuperFast ferry operates between Miami, Florida, and Bimini in the Bahamas.
