AmaWaterways’ 124-passenger AmaDara has debuted on the Mekong River in Southeast Asia.

The ship, which is now part of AmaWaterway’ Exotics division, will sail various upstream and downstream voyages, calling at Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia, and Tan Chau and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the anticipated arrival of AmaDara on the legendary Mekong River,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways. “This new ship gives travellers the chance to enjoy the comfort and luxury of AmaWaterways, while having a truly authentic experience exploring one of the most incredible regions of the world.”

AmaDara has 62 spacious staterooms and luxury suites, each featuring a private ‘twin balcony’ consisting of a French balcony with a second full-sized step-out balcony. Featuring French colonial-style décor with authentic Mekong artifacts, the ship has a speciality restaurant, a spa, a fitness centre, and a sun deck with a swimming pool.

Onboard services include air-conditioning and complimentary wifi, unlimited wine, spirits, local beer, soft drinks and bottled water.
