Lüftner Cruises is preparing to christen its new river cruise ship, Amadeus Queen, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 4 April, following her delivery from Dutch shipbuilder Shipyard de Hoop.

Set to be the 15th ship in the Austrian operator’s Amadeus River Cruises brand, Amadeus Queen has 70 staterooms with panoramic window fronts that can be lowered automatically, as well as 12 suites with outdoor balconies and reading corners. Other onboard highlights include an indoor pool with a roof that can be opened in good weather. In the evenings, this area will be used for presentations, functions and cinema showings.

Amadeus Queen will sail on Europe’s Danube, Rhine and Main rivers, as well as the Dutch and Belgian waterways.
