River cruise operator AmaWaterways will use a global reservation and revenue management system from Versonix Seaware for all sailings from 1 January 2016 onwards.

The system has already been implemented and travel agents can already use to book and modify individual and group reservations via the online Travel Agent Portal. It will also make it easier for the agents to seel cruises and earn commission.

“We are very pleased to start benefitting from the flexibility and capabilities of the Versonix Seaware system,” said Walter Littlejohn, vice president of reservations at AmaWaterways. “We have an unrivalled dedication to our travel agency partners and the sophisticated and robust Seaware reservation platform will allow us to greatly enhance the level of service we provide to retailers.”

AmaWaterways, which operates 21 ships in Europe, Asia and Africa.
