No-fly cruise brand Ambassador Cruise Line has updated food and beverage menus across its fleet as part of its commitment to providing guests with “the very best in gastronomy”.

The new menus have been designed to offer guests more choice and variety across all eateries onboard Ambassador Cruise Line ships, Ambience and Ambition.

The Chef’s Table, which features a chef-curated tasting menu inspired by the chef’s own travels, now includes full vegetarian and vegan menu options on both ships. Non-alcoholic drink pairings are also available.

Speciality restaurant Saffron on both ships offers two South Asian menus offering a choice of starters and desserts, as well as a larger main course menu handcrafted by the executive chef and their team. Sharing platters include Indian-inspired dishes such as a Hariyali Jhinga and Fish Amritsari, while the main option in the three-course meal menu is made up of Royal Indian Maharaja Thali (vegan options available) and Carrot Halwa Trifle among other selections for a dessert.

Ambassador’s updated menus will ensure guests can enjoy ‘a taste of whatever takes their fancy, whenever they fancy’, says the brand

Ambassador Cruise Line’s new al fresco dining concept, Dine Under the Stars, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy steak and lobster surf ‘n’ turf out on the deck onboard both ships.

Exclusively onboard Ambience, speciality restaurant Sea & Grass offers a seven-course menu with dishes inspired by destinations across Europe.

Meanwhile, Ambition’s exclusive speciality restaurant Lupino’s serves a selection of Mediterranean dishes paying homage to the brand’s former head of destination management Michelle Lupino’s Italian heritage. Lupino passed away in October 2022 shortly before Ambassador’s second ship set sail and £5 from the sale of every bottle of Mateus Rose, Lupino’s favourite wine, will go towards her chosen charity, the RSPCA.

For guests who prefer to dine in their room, the new room service menu offers a wide selection, from Daytime and Healthy Bites (served between 11:00 and 23:00) and Nighttime Nibbles (served between 23:00 and 07:00). Vegan options are also available.

“With guests’ satisfaction polls showing that 94 per cent of guests would recommend Ambassador to friends and family, we’re excited to be able to offer guests old and new a delicious culinary journey to perfectly complement their voyages of discovery onboard the Ambassador fleet,” said Bob McGowan, head of operations at Ambassador Cruise Line. “From our enhanced room service offering to all-new vegetarian and vegan tasting menus at the Chef’s Table, enticing new dishes in our speciality venues and more variety and choice than ever before on our standard lunch and dinner menus, our executive chefs have worked diligently to ensure we have dining venues for every mood.”
