American Cruise Lines has created a new 11-Day ‘Alaskan Explorer Cruise’ itinerary, which will debut in 2020. A roundtrip departing from Juneau, Alaska, the itinerary will take guests to destinations in Southern Alaska and offer a cruise through the Inside Passage and an overnight in Glacier Bay National park.
American Cruise Lines will also be introducing a new onboard programme for 2020 and 2021. The Art Cruise programme will be offered on select cruise itineraries across America. The programme will involve an artist-in-residence offering guests daily classes in watercolour and mixed media.
Guests will also have the chance to display their work at an art show, held during the final cocktail hour of the cruise. The new programme will appear on itineraries along the Mississippi River, the Southeast Coast of America, the Hudson River and the Columbia & Snake rivers.
American Jazz and American Melody, the third and fourth of American Cruise Lines’ series of modern riverboats, will also debut in 2020. American Jazz will begin operating Mississippi cruises in late August, while American Melody will begin service by the end of the year. Including the new ships, American will be operating 13 small ships across America in the upcoming season.
