American Cruise Lines is to double its capacity in Alaska for 2025, with two small ships sailing five itineraries from May to September.
The cruise line has repositioned its small ship American Constitution to the West Coast of the USA for summer Alaska cruises, in between spring and autumn cruises to Puget Sound.
American Constitution will join its sister ship American Constellation in sailing five different Alaska itineraries, including two new ‘Alaska National Parks’ cruises. The 19- and 16-day itineraries will feature a sailing between Fairbanks and Juneau in Alaska for either nine or 12 days along with seven days of land exploration in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks.
American Cruise Lines itineraries will include visits to Alaska’s national parks
Guests can also embark on the 9-day ‘Southeast Alaska Cruises’ or the 12-day ‘Alaskan Explorer Cruise’ roundtrip from Juneau, both of which will visit Glacier Bay National Park and other Alaskan destinations. The 16-day ‘Alaska Inside Passage Cruise’, meanwhile, will either sail from Seattle, Washington, to Juneau or in reverse from Juneau to Seattle, and will cruise the Inside Passage of Alaska and its nearly 1,000 miles of coastline.
