The tiny jewel that is Jersey is located some 160km south of mainland Britain. Lying in the Bay of St Malo, it is just 22km from the French coast and the most southerly island of the British Isles. While traditionally British, its French influences can be found in abundance in its landscape of Norman style farmhouses, narrow winding lanes and French street names.

Ports of Jersey takes great pride in its maritime history and culture, and with its breadth of knowledge and proven experience, coupled with outstanding on-island services and facilities, it promises visiting cruise ships and their passengers an unforgettable escape.

Measuring just 14km by 8km, with a resident population of around 100,000 people, Jersey boasts a rich and varied landscape. It is often referred to as the warmest place in the British Isles and promises to send its visitors into a sensory overload.

Lush valleys, quiet country lanes and footpaths, along with unspoilt coastline, make the island a walker’s paradise. With over 350 miles of roads, byways and lanes to explore, Jersey is one of Europe’s best kept secrets for cyclists.

For those who prefer a livelier pace the cosmopolitan capital of St Helier, with its wealth of Michelin-starred restaurants, al-fresco dining, bars and cafes together with top designer stores and well-known UK brands, makes for the perfect destination.
