Royal Caribbean International’s latest newbuild is to leave the building dock at the Meyer Werft yard in Papenburg, Germany, on 21 February.
The 168,600gt Anthem of the Seas, which is one of the largest cruise ships in the world, is scheduled to leave the covered building dock at 7.00 am.
Following the float-out, the ship will berth at the yard’s pier before undergoing thruster and stabiliser trials in the harbour on 22 February. Engineers will then finish outfitting the ship’s interior and carry out further onboard tests before she is conveyed down the River Ems to the North Sea in mid-March.
