Baie-Comeau in Quebec, Canada, is to handle 15 cruise calls in 2015, marking a 60% rise from 2014.
Pearl Sea Cruises’ Pearl Mist will open the season in June, calling a further eight times in 2015. Two ships will make maiden calls this year including Saga Holidays’ 600-passenger Saga Sapphire and Phoenix Reisen’s 1,100-guest Albatros. Other visiting ships include Seabourn Cruises’ Seabourn Quest and Silversea’s Silver Whisper.
Together, these vessels will bring around 5,600 cruise passengers and 2,800 crew members to the port.
Eight cruise calls have already been confirmed for 2016.
