Brittany Ferries is to offer daily services between Gurnsey, France and the UK in summer 2025 following the approval of a 15-year operating licence by the States of Guernsey.
The French company, which is a majority shareholder of Condor Ferries, is “charting a new course” for Condor and Guernsey by operating sailings between the island and the UK and France from 28 March to 30 September 2025. Condor Ferries' current contract to provide a service on the routes ends on 27 March.
Condor Islander will provide services between Guernsey and Portsmouth, England, six days a week, all year round, while Condor Voyager will operate the route between St Malo in France to Guernsey and Poole, England. The ferry will sail daily in high season and three times per week in the off-peak season.
“We exist to connect people, facilitate trade and enrich the regions we serve, so in this new era the island will be put first, services will improve, and benefits will be felt by all,” said Christophe Mathieu, CEO of Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries. “We are delighted to confirm our agreement with the States of Guernsey and I am pleased to confirm that next summer’s sailings will be available [to book] next Tuesday [26 November], so my message to everyone is we are open for business. We have taken steps to put in place schedules that demand and support the tourism in Guernsey. We are committed to providing islanders with convenient options to secure their journeys.”
The new timetables are available on the Condor Ferries website
