Scotland’s Greenock Ocean Terminal opened its busy 2013 cruise season with the arrival of Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 on 15 May 2013.
After arriving from Hamburg, Queen Mary 2’s passengers were greeted by both the Inverclyde Tourist Group and a group of local school children, who were able to go onboard for a guided tour.
A total of ten vessels called at the terminal over a two-week period, with TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff, MSC Cruises’ MSC Magnifica and Celebrity Cruises’ Infinity all making maiden calls at the port.
Greenock also received several returning cruise ships including Saga Cruises’ Quest for Adventure, Silversea’s Silver Explorer and P&O’s Adonia. Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess also returned to make the first of eight visits this season.
