Cambiaso & Risso Group has opened a new office in Dubai to offer shipping and port services to cruise and cargo operators calling at ports in the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent.
Founded in Genoa, Italy, in 1946, Cambiaso & Risso already has offices in Italy, France, Monaco, Spain, Slovenia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
The new office in Dubai will provide cargo shipping services, as well as port and tour operation services for cruise companies visiting the ports of Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. In future, the company plans to extend services to Iraq and Pakistan.
“We have been operating in the Middle East since 2011 and the successful operations at our Singapore and Hong Kong offices convinced our group to strengthen our presence in Middle East and Indian subcontinent,” said Giovanni Paolo Risso, chairman and CEO of Cambiaso & Risso International. “This area is growing and becoming a real reference point in the maritime cluster and in particular in the oil and cruise sectors, which represent our core business. We want to play a major role in this region.”
