Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Fascination is to be fitted with new food and beverage outlets during a multimillion-dollar dry dock in February 2018.
Carnival Fascination will enter dry dock from 4-17 February in Freeport, The Bahamas, before resuming her year-round schedule of seven-day southern Caribbean cruises from San Juan, Puerto Rico on 18 February.
New dining venues will include Bonsai Sushi Express, complimentary poolside Mexican eatery BlueIguana Cantina and free poolside venue Guy’s Burger Joint, which was developed in partnership with Food Network personality Guy Fieri. Meanwhile, new bars will include BlueIguana Tequila Bar, a vintage-themed cocktail ‘pharmacy’ named Alchemy Bar and the Caribbean-themed RedFrog Rum Bar. Carnival will also add Cherry on Top, which will offer bulk candy, gifts, novelties, custom apparel and more.
“We can’t wait for our guests to experience these exciting new features aboard Carnival Fascination when she returns to her year-round homeport of San Juan early next year,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival.
