Between April and November 2016, five Carnival Cruise Line ships will offer ten voyages from six US homeports to Bermuda – its most varied Bermuda programme to date.
On 10 April and 26 October, Carnival Pride will sail five-day cruises from Baltimore and will also offer seven-day voyages on 4 and 18 September. Meanwhile, Carnival Victory will sail an eight-day voyage from Port Canaveral on 19 May, and Carnival Splendor will offer a nine-day cruise from PortMiami on 26 May. Plus, Carnival Ecstasy will offer seven-day cruises from Charleston on 12 May and 5 November, while Carnival Sunshine will start a seven-day cruise from New York on 1 October and a five-day sailing from Norfolk on 23 October.
All of the five-day itineraries feature an overnight call at King’s Wharf in Bermuda, while the seven-day cruises spend two nights docked at the berth and the eight-day voyage features three nights on the island.
“By offering Bermuda cruises from a variety of convenient drive-to homeports, we’re providing guests even more opportunities to experience and explore this incredible island paradise,” said Christine Duffy, Carnival’s president. “The island has tremendous tourist appeal and the wide range of cruises offer consumers maximum choice when planning their Bermuda vacation while providing travel agents with a sought-after destination to market to their clients.”
While in Bermuda, guests will be able to visit the island’s pink sand beaches, golf courses, various UNESCO World Heritage Sites and enjoy activities such as glass-bottom boat rides, snorkelling and scuba diving. During overnight visits, guests will also be able to dine onshore or head to local bars.
