Celebrity Cruises is to base five ships in Europe in the 2017-2018 season, including Celebrity Reflection, Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Eclipse and Celebrity Silhouette.
The line’s newest ship, Celebrity Reflection, will sail along the French, Italian and Spanish coastlines as part of her new 11-night ‘Best of the Western Mediterranean’ itinerary. This will feature four calls in Spain, visits to Florence and Pisa in Italy, Nice in France, Gibraltar, and an overnight in Barcelona, Spain.
Meanwhile, guests sailing onboard Celebrity Equinox will be able to enjoy seven-nights voyages to destinations such as Salerno and Livorno, Italy; Santorini, Greece; and Cannes in France. The ship will also make the line’s first visits to Sète in France, and overnights in Barcelona and Ibiza, Spain.
Celebrity Constellation will offer various new nine- and ten-night sailings, which will take guests to several new Mediterranean destinations including Monte Carlo in Monaco and Sète.
Also new for Celebrity Cruises, guests onboard Celebrity Eclipse will receive a VIP ticket to the men’s and women’s final matches at the French Open tennis tournament.
Celebrity Cruises will also continue to offer guests opportunities to visit destinations during global events through its popular Signature Event Sailings programme. For example, guests will be able to experience The British Open, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the Cannes Film Festival.
In addition, the line will offer new shore excursion options, such as the opportunity for guests to join the ship’s chefs as they visit local markets and shops for ingredients for the onboard meals.
Other new options featuring new ‘Uniquely Celebrity’ experiences include a treasure hunt around Kronborg and Helsingor in Denmark; a Paella Lunch at a traditional barraca in Valencia, Spain; and a ‘Walk in Peterhof Lower Park and Grand Peterhof Spa Hotel’ in St. Petersburg, Russia. Guests will also be able to enjoy ‘The Ultimate Greek Indulgence’, where they will visit remote coves and beaches onboard a private luxury boat, and the ‘Merchants in Venice’ excursion at Rialto market in Venice, Italy.
