Mediterranean operator Celestyal Cruises is to offer a new seven-day roundtrip from Izmir, Turkey in May 2016.

Featuring three new destinations, the itinerary is the nineteenth the cruise line has added since 2014 and will be offered onboard Celestyal Nefeli, the newest addition to the fleet. Departures will be available throughout May and guests will be able to visit various Ionian and Aegean including Mytilini, Athens (Lavrion), Nafplion, Syros, Chania, Cesme, Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes.

While in Greece, guests will be able to enjoy excursions to Chania in Crete; Nafplion; the Sanctuary of Epidaurus, a UNESCO World Heritage site; and Mycenae, one of the largest settlements of the former Mycenaean civilisation. The itinerary also includes a half-day in the Turkish Riviera port of Cesme, where passengers will have the opportunity to visit Ancient Ephesus, one of the world’s largest open-air museums.

In addition, guests will be able to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine, themed events and entertainment.

Celestyal Cruises will also offer new all-inclusive drinks and shore excursion packages in 2016. The ‘Gold’ Drink Package enables guests to enjoy Greek wines, premium label spirits, as well as branded soft drinks for £27 per day.

Celestyal’s shore excursion packages are designed to make pre-purchasing excursions much simpler for passengers and feature all of the company’s top-selling options. Pricing has also been simplified to ensure that the more excursions passengers purchase, the larger the discount they receive. This offer is only available prior to boarding.

“Our goal is to enhance the cruise experience for our passengers, truly allowing them to relax during the cruise,” said Pythagoras Nagos, Celestyal Cruises’ vice president of sales. “Our all-Inclusive packages make it so passengers don’t have to worry about onboard purchases. They also further enable our ships’ crews to focus on our guests by providing them with authentic Greek hospitality and an even better customer service.”
