City Experiences has launched Venture Ashore, an independent cruise excursions provider which will offer more than 5,000 tours in 111 countries and from over 500 ports of call worldwide.
Venture Ashore becomes the newest addition to the City Experiences portfolio of brands, backed by parent company Hornblower Group.

The new brand will offer a range of tour offerings for different groups, interests and budgets. Parties of 12 or more will be able to use a dedicated groups service, with a team of personal specialists to support their experience in a tailor-made itinerary. It will also offer private and small group tours varying by destination and demand, accommodating between six and 25 people. Venture Ashore also includes a newly created ‘Essential Collection,’ a compilation of curated global tours ranging from culinary encounters to walking experiences.
Venture Ashore will leverage City Experiences’ in-house operating system, Anchor, to deliver end-to-end experiences and enable guests to use new trip planner tools. The system also includes a portal for travel agents offering functionalities such as group tools, access to reports, new marketing tools and the ability to secure US bookings with a deposit.
