Cruise ship management company Columbia Cruise Services (CCS) has been appointed to recruit medical professionals for the Mein Schiff fleet owned and operated by TUI Cruises.
The agreement will see CCS source doctors and nurses from its global network of crewing offices. It extends the existing collaboration between the two companies, which involves CCS being the appointed technical director for TUI Cruises’ Hapag-Lloyd Cruises brand.
“Medical professionals are vital members of any cruise ship operation – especially during a pandemic,” said Olaf Groeger, CCS’s managing director. “CCS has a wealth of experience in recruiting and managing medical personnel, giving TUI Cruises access to experienced, highly trained doctors and nurses at a time when the global medical industry is suffering a skills shortage.”
