Costa cruises has added the 927-passenger Voyager to its fleet, transferring the ship from Iberocruceros, the group’s Spanish arm.
The ship is currently undergoing a US$3.44 million renovation at San Giorgio shipyard at the Port of Genoa to prepare it for service with Costa, will run weeklong voyages to the Red Sea, calling at Egypt, Israel and Jordan throughout 2012.
The ship will offer 416 cabins in total including 16 panoramic suites with private balconies.
The vessel’s first cruise for Costa will depart from Savona, Italy on 20 November.
