Costa Cruises has created a range of extended itineraries, known as Costa Voyages, which will be available from September 2023.
Costa Voyages will be available in the spring and autumn months (September to November 2023, April to June 2024 and September to November 2024) onboard Costa Favolosa, Costa Fortuna, Costa Firenze, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Pacifica and Costa Diadema.
Itineraries will range from 10 to 14 days and enable guests to visit the Canary Islands, Turkey, the Egyptian pyramids, the Azores, the Balearic and Greek islands, Denmark, Israel and Morocco, as well as various other countries in Northern Europe.
Costa has also carefully selected and certified local guides to lead tours to a myriad of places including the Egyptian Museum and the Great Pyramid of Giza; holy sites in Jerusalem, Israel; the Hassan I Mosque and Rick’s Café, where the movie Casablanca was filmed, in Morocco; Europe’s most extensive lava tunnel (the Cueva del Viento) in Tenerife; the old city of Lisbon in Portugal; the Turkish cities of Istanbul and Izmir; and many more.
Other highlights on each of the cruises will include the opportunity for guests to choose from an exclusive menu devised by chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León. Costa has collaborated with pastry chef, Iginio Massari, to create 14 new desserts exclusively for these new itineraries.
In addition, Costa Voyages has teamed up with American music magazine, Rolling Stone, to offer guests an exclusive musical show. There will also be three formal evenings, including a gala night at the Grand Bar, a Fashion Night and a Glamour Night, a dance competition. Meanwhile, Japanese photography firm Canon will offer photography sessions. Games, quizzes and challenges inspired by the 1960s and 1990s will also be organised onboard.
Behind-the-scenes guided ship tours can also be booked as part of the Costa Voyages itineraries, enabling guests to explore the galleys, the bridge, crew bar and other spaces.
