Costa Fortuna embarked on the first cruise dedicated to Costa Cruises’ most loyal guests on 23 August.

Departing from Amsterdam in Netherlands, the ten-day cruise will take CostaClub members to the Norwegian fjords and offer a Bel Canto-themed programme showcasing Italy’s finest music, cuisine and entertainment.

Guests will be able to attend a live concert featuring music from popular opera arias performed by Italian soprano Cecilia Gasdi, who will be accompanied by her sister, pianist Elena Gasdia.

They will also be able to enjoy Costa’s new regional menus, which showcase cuisine from 14 Italian regions, as well as dishes created exclusively for the cruise by renowned pastry chef Luigi Biasetto. CostaClub members will also enjoy an exclusive buffet featuring Setteveli cake and the cascades of Macaron.

In addition, Costa has created an exclusive activities programme to enable guests to participate in flash mobs, gastronomy competitions and singing challenges, as well as festivities, cocktail parties, gala evening events and concerts. Guests will also receive exclusive gifts.
