Costa Cruises’ Costa Luminosa departed on her 108-day ‘Around-the-World Cruise’ from Savona, Italy on 6 January.

The ship will take more than 2,000 guests of 36 nationalities across three oceans to 39 ports in 20 different countries before returning to Savona on 24 April. Costa Luminosa will make longer calls in destinations such as Valparaiso, Chile; Papeete, Tahiti; Auckland, New Zealand; Sydney, Australia; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

“The Around-the-World cruise represents a really exclusive offer by Costa,” said Neil Palomba, president of Costa Cruises. “It’s a sign of just how much our product is appreciated, offering the Italy’s finest onboard and providing the opportunity to visit a variety of unique destinations in absolute comfort.”

Costa Luminosa will also sail a 98-day ‘Around-the-World’ cruise from Savona on 2 September 2016.
