Costa Cruises is to launch a new two-week itinerary that will allow guests to visit India, the Maldives and Sri Lanka onboard Costa neoClassica in winter 2016-2017.

Lasting 14 days, the ‘Colors of India, between Yin and Yang’ itinerary can be split into two seven-day segments, with flights to Male and Mumbai. Starting with two days at the Paradise Island Resort in Male, Maldives, the cruise will take guests to Sri Lanka where guests will visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage and embark the ship in Colombo, before heading to Goa, India. Here, guests will be able to opt for various shore excursions, including a tour of the old city and the capital, Panjim, as well as a visit to the Basilica de Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

From Goa, the ship will sail to Mumbai and enable guests to spend two days in the Indian city before taking them to New Mangalore and then Cochin in the federal state of Kerala. The ship will stop for another two days, giving guests time to explore the village of Kumbalangi and enjoy a houseboat ride in the Kerala Backwaters. Costa neoClassica will then return to Male, or guests can embark at Mumbai.
