Costa Cruises is to broadcast FIFA World Cup football matches onboard its 14 ships between 12 June and 13 July 2014.
Depending on the timing of matches and the nationalities playing, games will be broadcast in different venues, such as the Magrodome pool deck and in the main show lounge.
The line also has designed a variety of themed activities for passengers including games of freestyle soccer ball dribbling, group tournaments, samba lessons with a Brazilian dance teacher and World Cup trivia quizzes. In addition, passengers can enjoy flash-mob Brazilian dances performed to the tune of the official World Cup anthem, Brazilian-style appetisers with the country’s national cocktail Caipirinha and the Mister World Cup 2014 competition.
