CroisiEurope inaugurated its latest vessel, Douce France II, during a dockside ceremony in Strasbourg, France on 31 May 2017.
Following a complete makeover, the former Douce France has been upgraded to a premium-rated ship. The two-deck, 110-metre-long vessel can accommodate 106 guests in 48 double occupancy cabins, four single occupancy cabins, two suites, and one cabin designed for people with reduced mobility. All cabins have air-conditioning systems, a double bed that can be separated into twin beds, a private bathroom, a flat-screen television, a radio, a hair dryer and a safe. All upper deck cabins feature French balconies.
Other highlights onboard Douce France II include a bar and lounge with a dance floor, a restaurant, a sun deck with sun loungers and a shop. Meals, drinks, onboard activities, a gala dinner and accommodation is all covered in the cost of the cruise.
Douce France II will offer four- to seven-day cruises along the Rhine within the Moselle, Main and Rhine valleys.
