CroisiEurope has acquired Silversea Cruises’ Silver Discoverer to enable it to expand its ocean cruise business.
To be rebranded and renamed La Belle Des Océans, the seven-deck vessel will accommodate 120 passengers in 60 ocean-view suites, nine of which have private balconies. Notable features in all suites will include a walk-in shower, a desk, a hairdryer, a built-in wardrobe with a safe, a mini bar, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Other onboard highlights include a spa, a beauty salon, a swimming pool, a poolside grill and bar, two indoor bars and lounges, a restaurant and a fitness centre.
Measuring 103 metres in length and 15 metres in width, La Belle Des Océans will be able to dock in ports that are inaccessible to larger ships, enabling CroisiEurope to offer itineraries to both popular and less crowded destinations.
La Belle Des Océans will be inaugurated in spring 2020, joining CroisiEurope’s other ocean ship, La Belle de l’Adriatique.
