The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) expects to host 440,000 cruise ship passengers this year, and 600,000 passengers and 250 stopovers per year by 2020.

In 2016, the Spanish port welcomed 403,264 passengers, a 7.66% rise from the previous year.

PAV will market its cruise facilities and Valencia’s shore excursion opportunities at the Seatrade Cruise Global trade fair in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 13-16 March 2017. Representatives will promote PAV’s latest commercial policy, which is aimed at increasing cruise traffic, and will also seek cruise line feedback on plans for a new cruise terminal in North Valencia.
