Crystal Cruises ships to offer concurrent World Cruises in 2018

Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will each embark on World Cruises in 2018 for the first time in Crystal Cruises’ history.

As part of the line’s 2018 World Cruise collection, Crystal Symphony will sail her first full World Cruise since 2003. Departing from Cape Town, South Africa, n January 2018, the ship will sail a 114-day voyage calling at destinations in the Southern Hemisphere including South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, French Polynesia, South America and the Caribbean.

Crystal Symphony will make six maiden calls including Geraldton, Bunbury, and Esperance, Australia; Burnie, Tasmania; Fakarava, French Polynesia, and Robinson Crusoe Island, Chile.

Meanwhile, Crystal Serenity will embark on her 15th global expedition in January 2018 and sail a 112-day voyage in the South Pacific, Australia, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, India, Dubai and the Mediterranean. The ship will make maiden calls and overnights in Manila, Philippines, and Mumbai, India. Other overnight highlights include Muscat, Oman; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and S´faga, Egypt.

Both ships will simultaneously arrive in Sydney, Australia, on 17 February, enabling guests to start their world cruise onboard one ship and switch to the other.

Guests choosing to begin their world cruise on Crystal Symphony will be able to board Crystal Serenity for a journey through Asia, India, and Holy Land, while those starting on Crystal Serenity can join Crystal Symphony for a journey through the South Pacific to Miami, US.

Ranging from 97 to 129 days, the voyages will include a combined 111 destinations in 45 countries, featuring 16 maiden calls and 50 overnights. When the ships arrive in Sydney, full World Cruise guests will be invited to a gala celebration.

As with each annual Crystal World Cruise, the 2018 voyages are also available for booking in shorter segments.
