Crystal Cruises has partnered with ETRO Spa products to provide new amenities in guests staterooms and penthouse suites, as well as new Medi-Spa Cosmetic Treatments in the Crystal Spa and Salon.
Available onboard Crystal Symphony from 16 August and Crystal Serenity from 20 August, the new ETRO will include bathrobes, slippers, shower caps, shoe mittens and sewing kits. In addition, ETRO will provide shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bath salts and other toiletries in various unisex fragrances.
Meanwhile, the Crystal Spa and Salon will offer three non-invasive Medi-Spa cosmetic services – targeted wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and Thermage CPT – which will be performed by a licensed doctor. Guests can also attend complimentary seminars during voyages to find out more about non-surgical facelifts, liquid facelifts, facial rejuvenation and skin tightening. They can also arrange private consultations with the doctor.
“One of the perks of vacation – other than the memorable experiences one enjoys – is the revitalised and rested look that comes after a week or more of pampering and relaxation,” said Edie Rodriguez, Crystal president and CEO. “Along with the indulgent luxuries that our guests enjoy aboard our ships, these services take that rejuvenation to the next level, helping travellers look as refreshed as they feel following a Crystal cruise.”
Crystal will also become the first cruise line to offer an onboard MLX Quartz bed when it debuts on Crystal Serenity this month. The bed’s base is made of alpha-quartz sand, which can be selectively heated to varying temperatures, to help alleviate pain and improve comfort. Crystal will also offer two new speciality massages – a hot mineral body massage and a poultice-powered muscle release massage – using the bed’s technology.
The new Medi-Spa treatments and other spa services can be booked prior to sailing via Crystal’s Priority Check-in and Planning Center, or onboard the ship.
