Crystal River Cruises’ four newly built river cruise vessels will offer all-suite accommodations located above the waterline, open-seat dining and various other luxury amenities when they debut in spring and summer 2017.

Although Crystal Ravel, Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy and Crystal Mahler will boast nearly identical designs to the line’s first river ship Crystal Mozart, which will debut this summer, they will not be the same size. Instead, they will carry far fewer guests than the 158 carried by Crystal Mozart.

Sailing on the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Bach will be 135m long and feature 55 suites for 110 guests, while the 110m Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel will sail on the Seine, Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde Rivers and accommodate 80 guests in 40 suites.

“Emulation has never been part of our formula for success, rather, we have enjoyed a long reputation for innovating and leading the way in luxury travel experiences,” said Edie Rodriguez, Crystal CEO and president. ““As part of Crystal’s longstanding tradition of offering the highest standard of luxury experiences, we have incorporated a critical redesign to the river yachts that will enhance the guests’ overall space and experience, allowing all guests to relish in the lush scenery along their journey.”

All four vessels will include the Waterside Restaurant, Bistro cafés, the exclusive Vintage Room, Cove Bar and Palm Court, a full-service spa and a separate fitness centre equipped with modern machines, cardio equipment and free weights. Guests can also use a partial indoor/outdoor pool on the aft of Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler.

Suites will feature king-sized beds that face toward Panoramic Balcony-Windows, walk-in closets, full-length mirrors, ETRO robes and slippers, wall-mounted flat-screen HD TVs and Nespresso machines. Guests also have access to Crystal’s in-suite butler service.

“We have ensured that, in designing Crystal River Cruises’ yachts, we remain committed to the cornerstones of the Crystal brand that travellers throughout the world have come to love: service, space, quality and choices,” says Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director, Crystal River Cruises. “It is imperative that our guests’ experience aboard these vessels conveys this commitment to the ‘Crystal Difference’.”
