Crystal Cruises’ Crystal Serenity is to embark on the line’s 25th World Cruise in 2020.
The 105-day ‘Epic Empires and Idyllic Isles’ cruise will visit 47 cities in 23 countries between 6 January and 21 April 2020. The journey also includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and transits the Panama and Suez Canals, as well as the Pacific and Indian Oceans and the Andaman, Tasman and Mediterranean seas.
Highlights of the ‘Epic Empires and Idyllic Isles’ World Cruise will include overnight stays in 17 cities, including Sydney, Australia; Singapore; and Mumbai, India. A South Pacific sojourn will allow guests to visit nine idyllic isles with overnight stays in Bora Bora, French Polynesia and Papeete, Tahiti. A port-intensive tour of New Zealand will showcase its fjords and winelands, with opportunities to visit Queenstown.
Other highlights will include an exploration of Australia’s eastern coast, where guests can explore the resort towns of Mooloolaba and Airlie Beach, and discover the Great Barrier Reef. Guests will also enjoy a journey through Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand en route to Sri Lanka, as well as overnight stays in Cochin and Mumbai in India, and visits to the ancient empires in Oman, Israel, Jordan and Egypt.
Lesser-explored areas of Mediterranean destinations will also be feature on itineraries, including Larnaca, Cyprus; Aghios Nikolaos, Crete; Syracuse in Sicily; and Rome; Italy.

Crystal Serenity’s World Cruise is also available in seven focused segments lasting 13 to 18 days. In addition, full world cruisers will have the option to embark in Los Angeles, California for an 89-day voyage beginning on 22 January and arriving in Rome on 21 April.
