Cuba Cruise, which was launched in January 2013, has finished its global tour after debuting at the ITB in Europe, TUR in Scandinavia, WTM and Braztoa in South America and throughout Canada.

Following the success of its global launch, Cuba Cruise will establish tour operator partnerships in Europe, the UK, North and South America, as well as Russia and Australia.

“For decades travellers have wanted a way to explore Cuba’s off-the-beaten path areas and get away from the crowded resorts, without giving up comfort and safety,” said Dugald Wells, Cuba Cruise president. “Cuba Cruise is answering that demand. We couldn’t be happier with the response we’ve received so far.”

The line’s 25,611gt ship Louis Cristal will embark on its first cruise season on 16 December and will sail from both Havana, Cuba and Montego Bay, Jamaica, until 31 March 2014. The vessel will offer seven-night cruises and call at six ports.

Louis Cristal offers 480 staterooms and suites, lounges and restaurants, casino and open promenades, as well as an internet corner, wifi and a roaming GSM mobile phone service. Each cruise will feature Cuban cuisine and traditional entertainment from local musicians and dancers.
