Cunard Line, Carnival Corporation’s luxury brand, has finalised the 2019 voyage schedule for its newest ship, Queen Elizabeth, centring on four 10-day Alaskan round-trip sailings from Vancouver.

“Cunard is thrilled to make our return to Alaska with our youngest ship Queen Elizabeth,” said Josh Leibowitz, Senior VP, Cunard North America. “Our guests can now explore the region on the best itinerary in Alaska—four 10-night round-trip Vancouver sailings with more time in port and opportunities to visit the natural wonders of Tracy Arm Fjord and Hubbard Glacier.”

The four sailings will take place in May and June, and will also include scenic cruising through the waterways of the Inside Passage and visits to the towns of Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka in Alaska and Victoria in Canada.

The Alaska programme begins on 5 May with a 27-night voyage from Japan, crossing the International Date Line and cruising along the Alaskan coast before heading to Vancouver.

In July, Queen Elizabeth will transport passengers down the West Coast of the United States, and then sail through the Panama Canal to New York, on to Iceland and the British Isles.
