Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth visited Halong Bay, Vietnam for the first time on 31 March during her annual, 118-night Round World Voyage, which calls at 40 ports in 23 different countries.
Named by Her Majesty The Queen in 2010, the 2,000-passenger ship arrived in the UNESCO World Heritage site, which is noted for its islands and sheer rock pillars, after an overnight stay in Hong Kong. The vessel, which departed Southampton, UK, on 10 January, is more than halfway through her voyage and has already sailed through the Panama Canal and on to San Francisco, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and China. Passengers will also enjoy calls at ports in Singapore, Sri Lanka, India and Dubai, before Queen Elizabeth arrives back at her Southampton homeport on 9 May.
