Jets improves vacuum toilet systems with new pump
Cutting consumption

By Rebecca Gibson |

We have been developing and improving our Vacuumarator technology for 25 years. It is therefore with great pride that we now offer a pump whose energy consumption is extremely low, yet whose performance rate is 30 per cent higher. Benefits to the customer from the new 95MB Vacuumarator pump include reduced run time, considerably lower energy consumption, less wear-and-tear, greater operating reliability and less maintenance.

Jets launched the original Vacuumarator technology in 1989. Since then the company has worked continuously to develop new and improved pumps. We are convinced that the latest generation is the most effective, energy-saving and reliable vacuum generator for toilet systems on the market. Internationally, the technology has an excellent reputation for quality, performance and value. Today more than 30,000 of our pumps are in operation worldwide. We are passionate about development, and with our new pump we can offer customers an even better alternative.

The Vacuumarator pump creates a vacuum, macerates and pumps, all in one operation. The pump is made of high-quality materials, and is available in a variety of models with different capacities. It can handle any combination of liquid and air. Several pumps can be built into a preassembled unit tailored to specific requirements with regard to vacuum-generating capacity and redundancy.
It is a simple matter to upgrade from the previous model, the 65MBA, to the 95MB, without having to modify neither the control box nor the vacuum unit. Customers who make the switch will benefit from an immediate and substantial reduction in energy consumption.

Dimensions and footprint are identical, the connections are the same and any spare parts our customers already have can be used on the new pumps. The new pump was launched in the market in September 2012.
Founded in 1986, the Jets group offers advanced sanitary solutions with extremely low water consumption for use in onshore as well as offshore and shipboard sanitary systems. The patented Vacuumarator pump technology is the platform on which the corporation’s vacuum sanitary systems are based.
