Denmark’s Port of Nyborg and Port of Fredericia, operated by ADP, welcomed three international cruise ships in just five days between 9 and 13 May 2016.

First to call was Fred. Olsen Cruise Line’s Braemar, which berthed in Nyborg on 9 May and Fredericia on 11 May as part of its mystery cruise.

“Working with a mystery cruise call adds a little extra anticipation on our part,” said Gry Klok Thomsen, cruise business manager at ADP. “Not knowing much about the ship, the itinerary, where it’s coming from or travelling to, is very exciting, I think.”

The third and final cruise call of the week was from Seabourn Cruise Line’s Seaborn Quest, which berthed in Fredericia.

Located 42 nautical miles from the international deep-water route of the Great Belt, Fredericia has a 350m cruise quay and a water depth of 12m. Fredericia offers easy access to attractions such as Hans Christian Andersen's Odense, Egeskov Castle, Legoland and three UNESCO World Heritage sites.

“Our value proposition is that we are ‘Credible, Close and Cruiseable’ and I believe these characteristics to be our strongest selling points,” said Thomsen. “Fredericia's exceptional location and operational facilities in the heart of Denmark obligates us to use its full potential. The cruise season isn’t over yet and I am excited to see this part of our company develop further.”
