Following a successful year, Scottish ferry operator David MacBrayne Group is set introduce several new vessels and initiatives to improve customer experience over the coming months.

The company, which operates in the Clyde and Hebrides region, is to move Loch Seaforth to the Ullapool-Stornaway route next year, while its two new innovative diesel hybrids Hallaig and Lochinvar are due to enter service in the coming months. Passengers will also benefit from an updated ticketing and online booking system and fleet-wide access to wifi.

“Work is progressing to improve our customers’ experience of our services and I'm looking forward to the coming year, which will see several new initiatives coming on stream,” said group chairman David McGibbon. “Our core business of providing ferry services in the Clyde and on the west coast remains profitable and reliability, punctuality and customer satisfaction on all our routes remains high.”
