Designing the Mein Schiff fleet for TUI Cruises

What work did you carry out onboard Mein Schiff 4?
We designed the majority of the ship’s public areas and collaborated with cm-Design to create the new Diamond Suite and Super Suite. TUI wanted to introduce some variety between Mein Schiff 3 and 4, so we changed the colours in the SchauBar bakery and the Ankelmannsplatz buffet area. Following guest feedback, we also converted Eurasia from an Asian restaurant to a brasserie.

What were the most challenging tasks during the project?
Following guest feedback, we converted Eurasia from an Asian restaurant to a brasserie by altering a few finishes and artwork, which took a lot of creativity. However, as we’ve worked on other Mein Schiff vessels and this newbuild is largely the same, the project went smoothly.

Will you work on the four Mein Schiff newbuilds?
We’ve created more areas onboard Mein Schiff 5 than on Mein Schiff 4, and have already delivered these designs to TUI. One highlight will be a new and unique dining venue, which will be at the aft end of the ship, but that’s all confidential for now!
