Disney Dream arrived at the Port of Kiel’s Ostseekai terminal on 2 August, marking the first time that Disney Cruise Line has called at the German port.
The ship’s first visit to the port was celebrated with a traditional exchange of plaques onboard.
"With the arrival of the Disney Dream, we are not only welcoming a unique cruise ship - but also Disney Cruise Line for the first time in Kiel,” said Dirk Claus, managing director of Seehafen Kiel. “We are always particularly pleased when Kiel is a destination for international cruise guests.”
Following the visit to Kiel, Disney Dream will continue its roundtrip itinerary starting and ending in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ship is scheduled to return to Kiel for a second time on 9 August. In total, the port is scheduled to receive 222 cruise ship calls for the 2023 season.
