Disney Cruise Line is to return to New Orleans in Louisiana, US for a limited time in early 2021 to satisfy demand from its cruise guests.
Disney Wonder will homeport in at Port of New Orleans between late January and February, sailing a pair of four- and five-night cruises to destinations in the Western Caribbean, the latter of which includes Disney’s maiden visit to Progreso, Mexico. The ship will also offer a 14-night Panama Canal cruise and three seven-night voyages to The Bahamas with a call at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island destination.
Following her season in New Orleans, Disney Wonder will reposition to the US West Coast to sail three- to seven-night departures from San Diego, California to Baja and the Mexican Riviera. Disney Wonder will also return to the Port of Galveston in Texas in early 2021 to offer four- and six-night cruises to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. One seven-night departure will feature stops at Castaway Cay, Key West in Florida and Nassau in The Bahamas.
Disney will also have three other ships sailing to The Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida in early 2021, all of which will include a day at Castaway Cay.
Disney Magic will be based in Miami and operate three-, four- and five-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean cruises, while Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will both homeport in Port Canaveral. The former will offer seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries and the latter will provide three- and four-night Bahamian voyages.
